Privacy Policy

Effective: January 1, 2026 — Last updated: January 1, 2026

PawMetrics ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

The short version

  • Our calculators run entirely in your browser. Calculation inputs and results are never sent to or stored by us.
  • We do not require accounts, sign-ups, or email captures to use any tool on this site.
  • We use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are useful — these do not identify you individually.
  • Contact form submissions are stored only as long as needed to reply.

Information we collect

Information you provide

Only when you submit our contact form, we receive your name, email address, and message. This is used solely to respond to your inquiry.

Calculator inputs

The numbers and choices you enter into any calculator (weight, age, activity, etc.) are processed entirely in your browser and are not transmitted to our servers. We do not have, store, or have access to your dog's information.

Automatically collected information

Our hosting provider and analytics tool may automatically collect standard log data: anonymised IP address (truncated for privacy), browser type, device type, referring page, and pages visited. This data is used in aggregate to improve the site and is not used to identify individuals.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use a minimum of essential cookies for site functionality (such as remembering you have dismissed a notice). We do not use behavioural advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings — the site will continue to function normally.

Third-party services

This site may use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

  • Google Fonts — for typography. Google may log standard request data when fonts load.
  • Analytics — privacy-respecting analytics to count page visits.
  • Hosting provider — standard server logs for security and performance.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under data protection law (GDPR, CCPA, and similar) including the right to:

  • Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct any inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Object to processing.
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@pawmetrics.com.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for adult dog owners. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage for a reasonable period.
